These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of chillplate.store (the “Site”) and any purchase you make from Chillplate (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1. Products
Chillplate sells passive heat spreaders and related accessories for MacBook Air computers. We try to describe and display our products as accurately as possible, but colors, images, and descriptions may vary slightly. Compatibility information is provided as a guide; please confirm your model before ordering.
2. Orders and Pricing
All prices are shown in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, limit quantities, and refuse or cancel any order, including after an order has been placed. If we cancel an order after you have paid, we will refund you in full.
3. Payment
Payments are processed securely by PayPal, including card payments made through PayPal. We do not store your full card details. By submitting payment, you confirm you are authorized to use the chosen payment method.
4. Shipping
Orders ship from Shanghai, China. Processing and delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Any import duties, taxes, or customs fees charged by your country are your responsibility. See our Shipping Policy for details.
5. Returns, Refunds and Warranty
Returns, refunds, and our 90-day product warranty are covered by our Refund & Return Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
6. Installation and Use
Installing Chillplate requires opening your MacBook’s rear case. You install and use the product at your own risk. Opening your device may affect AppleCare or Apple’s standard warranty coverage. We are not responsible for damage caused by improper installation, misuse, accidents, or modification of the product.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site, including text, images, logos, and designs, is owned by or licensed to Chillplate and may not be copied or used without our written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chillplate is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data or loss of use, arising from your use of the Site or our products. Our total liability for any claim relating to a product will not exceed the amount you paid for that product. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.
9. Disclaimer
Except as expressly stated in our Refund & Return Policy, products and the Site are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. Performance results such as temperature improvements may vary depending on your device, workload, and environment.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the place where Chillplate is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the consumer protection laws of your country of residence require otherwise.
